Security & Two-Factor Authentication

FairArena takes the security of your account seriously. This article explains the security features available to you and how to keep your account safe.

Password Security

• Use a strong, unique password that you don't use on other websites.
• Your password must be at least 8 characters and include a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols.
• FairArena never stores your plain-text password. All passwords are encrypted.
• To change your password, go to Settings > Security > Change Password.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of protection to your account. Even if your password is compromised, 2FA prevents unauthorized access.

How to Enable 2FA

1. Go to Settings > Security.
2. Click Enable Two-Factor Authentication.
3. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (e.g., Google Authenticator, Authy).
4. Enter the 6-digit verification code to confirm setup.
5. Save your backup codes in a secure place.

How to Disable 2FA

1. Go to Settings > Security.
2. Click Disable Two-Factor Authentication.
3. Enter your current 2FA code to confirm.

Active Sessions

FairArena lets you view and manage all active login sessions:

• Go to Settings > Security > Active Sessions.
• You can see the device, location, and last active time for each session.
• Click Log Out to revoke access from any session you don't recognize.

Suspicious Activity

If you notice any unauthorized activity on your account:

1. Change your password immediately.
2. Revoke all active sessions.
3. Contact FairArena Support and describe the issue.

FairArena will never ask for your password via email or chat.

Data Privacy

• FairArena is compliant with GDPR and applicable data protection laws.
• You can request a copy of your personal data or request deletion by contacting support.
