Account Settings & Profile

Your FairArena account settings let you manage your personal information, notification preferences, and linked services. This article walks you through everything you can configure in your profile.

Accessing Your Account Settings

1. Log in to your FairArena account.
2. Click on your profile picture or name in the top-right corner.
3. Select Settings from the dropdown menu.

Profile Information

Update your personal details at any time:

• Full Name – The name displayed on your public profile and submissions.
• Username – Your unique FairArena handle.
• Profile Picture – Upload a photo to personalize your account.
• Bio – A short description visible on your public profile.
• Location – Optional field to indicate your region.
• Website / Portfolio – Link to your personal site or portfolio.

Click Save Changes to update your profile.

Email & Password

• Change Email – Enter your new email address and confirm it. A verification link will be sent to your new address.
• Change Password – Enter your current password and choose a new one. Use a strong, unique password.

Notification Preferences

Control how and when FairArena contacts you:

• Email Notifications – Toggle updates for competition announcements, results, judge assignments, and more.
• In-App Notifications – Manage alerts within the platform.
• Marketing Emails – Opt in or out of product updates and newsletters.

Connected Accounts

If you signed up using a social provider (Google, GitHub, etc.), your connected account appears here. You can add or remove connections.

Deleting Your Account

To permanently delete your FairArena account:

1. Go to Settings > Account.
2. Scroll to the Danger Zone section.
3. Click Delete My Account.
4. Confirm the action by entering your password.

Warning: Account deletion is irreversible. All your data, submissions, and competition history will be permanently removed.
